It’s one month today since our blogging adventure at My Farm Kitchen began. I’d like to send you a very sincere thanks.  Thank-you for subscribing via RSS to the site and for your overwhelming enthusiasm about what’s cooking and growing at my place and yours.  Your feedback is appreciated and inspiring.  Thanks also for liking us on Facebook and also to our Twitter followers.

We reached well over 3000 page views in our first month. What a great start! I’m so excited and humbled that my recipes and jottings have made you smile, laugh and run for your pots and pans. Some readers have re-discovered old favourites they hadn’t baked in years.  Our discoveries (old and new) are what ‘fresh in season flavour’ is all about.

I hope to continue growing our MFK community, helping to narrow the separation between food producers and our plates with classic uncomplicated cooking. Later this month, MFK will be launching our Preserves Club.  The opportunity to subscribe for 6 or 12 months (for yourself or a gift for a friend) to bi-monthly deliveries of our seasonal preserves, marmalades, citrus butters and hinterland honey.
