Caramel Tart filling

Ingredients - 2 heaped tablespoons of brown sugar ❤ 2 heaped tablespoons of butter ❤ 2 yolks of eggs ❤ 1 tablespoon of cornflour 1 dessertspoon of golden syrup

Method + Top Tips

Stir all the ingredients to mix a little before putting saucepan on to low heat on the stovetop, stirring continuously until it comes to the boil.  Let simmer carefully for 3 minutes, stirring only as needed as to not catch the pan bottom and burn. Fill pastry shells or case. Top with macadamia nut pieces or meringue. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate for a more professional finish if you like.
